Inflation Rates Announced: Rent Increase Rates Determined

Following the inflation data announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat), rent increase rates have also been determined. According to May inflation data, the monthly inflation rate was 3.37% and the annual inflation rate was u.45%.

Rent Increase for Workplaces: With the announcement of the May inflation rates, the rent increase rate for workplaces was determined as b.51. This rate means that business owners whose lease expires this month will pay their rents with an increase of b.51. Last month, this rate was determined as Y.64.
Rent Increase for Houses: The rate of rent increase for residential buildings is limited to % until July 2, 2024. This regulation aims to ease the financial burden of residential tenants.
